Access Your Locked Files to Delete Them with Unlocker
If you’ve ever been unable to delete a file in Windows, and can’t figure out what program’s using it, Unlocker is the solution. Have you ever seen these Windows error messages?

- Cannot delete folder: It is being used by another person or program
- Cannot delete file: Access is denied
- There has been a sharing violation.
- The source or destination file may be in use.
- The file is in use by another program or user.
- Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
Unlocker can help! Simply right-click the folder or file and select Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear.
1) Simply click Unlock All and you are done!

unlocker is incomparable when it comes to unlocking files, but seems like its not for windows 7
I don’t mind unlocking files on an OS 9 volume using “Get Info”, but I find it really aggrivating to do this for a folder with more than five files. I frequently have thirty or more files that that are all locked, and it gets really annoying.

This is really a good tool. Is there any tool that work on linux in similar way.
This tool can be very useful. Looks like I no more need to kill the running process from task manager, restart Windows or try in Safe mode to be able to do this!
I think we can use this tool to remove some pesky virus files which will not get deleted
